In 2016, Dr. Imran Rana, DVM, visited a busy six-doctor small animal practice and watched a veterinary team struggle with mats they’d bought at a conference just weeks before. Cat claws had already punched through the oilcloth surface. The mats slid across stainless steel tables, making patient handling harder and riskier. The material crinkled with every movement, adding noise to an already stressful environment. One usable side. Nearly impossible to clean properly between appointments.

NoFear Pet Mats is based in Carrollton, Texas. We’re not a general pet product company that added a “vet line.” We started inside a clinical setting, tested for real clinical use, and built every feature around the specific demands of veterinary and grooming environments.
Today, our mats serve veterinary clinics, grooming salons, animal shelters, and pet owners who want the same professional-grade comfort and stability at home. Whether the mat is going on an exam table or in your living room, the standard doesn’t change.
