The program is open to registered 501(c)(3) animal shelters, humane societies, SPCA chapters, licensed rescue organizations, and nonprofit veterinary clinics. Municipal shelters operated by local governments also qualify. We may ask for a copy of your nonprofit registration or shelter license during verification.
Yes. NoFear Pet Mats are built specifically for heavy clinical use. The 3-layer polyurethane construction resists cat claw punctures and stands up to repeated daily disinfections. In standard vet clinic settings, mats consistently last 2 or more years. Shelter environments vary, but the material is significantly more durable than the oilcloth mats common in shelter settings.
The mats are compatible with Rescue Disinfectant Wipes and Concentrate, Accel/Virox AHP products, KennelSol, Roccal-D Plus, QuatStat, Simple Green D Pro 5, Nolvasan Solution, and Chlorhexidine veterinary solutions. Avoid high-alcohol disinfectants like TB-cide, bleach/chlorine, ammonia cleaners, citrus solvent cleaners, and phenolic disinfectants such as Parvosol.
Duo-tone variants are not included in the shelter discount. The program covers Solid color and Paw Print versions of the Exam Table Mat and Scale Mat in White, Grey, Light Blue, Royal Blue, and Navy Blue.
